Nvidia has announced an update for its GeForce Now cloud gaming service with native support for Apple silicon Macs, including all M1 models like the 24-inch iMac and Mac Studio. The service delivers real-time gameplay from the cloud to your iPhone, iPad, Mac or Windows PC, Android and Nvidia’s Shield TV. GeForce Now is available for $10/month in the United States as a native macOS app or a web-based one.This will be a staggered release that will begin rolling out soon. Native support for Apple silicon Macs requires GeForce Now version 2.0.40.Nvidia is updating GeForce Now with Apple silicon support so you can now play cloud games at fun speed on M1 Macs instead of slower Rosetta emulation.Nvidia’s GeForce Now cloud gaming service now runs natively on Apple silicon Macs, bringing much faster performance and lower power consumption.
